Welder fabricator

Position: TIG Welder / Fabricator / Fitter

• Salary: 40,000 pa
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 17:30
• Location: Boden Hill sn15
  
  

Day-to-Day Duties

• TIG welding stainless steel and other metals (1.5mm upwards)
• Fabricating and pipefitting in the workshop and at client sites
• Reading and understanding technical drawings
• Operating equipment such as press brake, guillotine, rolls, and bandsaw
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations
• Collaborating with a team to meet project deadlines
• Maintaining a professional and detail-oriented approach to work
• Occasional overtime as required by customer demand
  
  

Experience And Skills Required

• Minimum 5 years welding experience (with references)
• Strong understanding of engineering/fabrication workshop operations
• Knowledge of mechanical systems is beneficial
• Experience in sheet metal work and pipefitting
• Previous experience in food/dairy manufacturing environments (desirable)
• Coded welder certification (desirable)
• Familiarity with Permit to Work documentation and writing RAMS (desirable)
