Job Description

We’re looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to our Chippenham site. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will ensure that all matters affecting the production and processing of activity through the site are carried out effectively and in line with key performance indicators. 

Successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain Security Clearance

Day to Day

  • Motivate and manage a team of MTOs to achieve, and where possible exceed, all performance objectives
  • People management tasks including Return to Work meetings, investigations, appraisals, coordinating overtime, monitoring performance and attendance 
  • Effectively manage resources to achieve KPIs
  • Be committed to continuous development, constantly strive for increased efficiency, productivity, and growth  
  • Maintain two-way communication with team members   
  • Deputise for the Team Manager or other Team Leaders as required  
  • Ensure a proactive approach to Health and Safety and compliance with relevant policies  
  • Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with customer and stakeholders  
  • Ensure all paperwork procedures are observed 
  • To carry out any additional tasks as agreed with the Management Team 

What will you bring?

  • Good attention to detail  
  • The ability to motivate a team and demonstrate excellent communication skills to engage the team members  
  • PC literate, including an understanding of Microsoft Office and the ability to use customer IT systems in accordance with training provided  
  • Good use of Six Sigma and Lean techniques
  • Able to consistently provide a high standard of customer service 
  • A proactive, flexible and "can do" attitude to resolve issues and challenges  
  • Flexibility is required regarding shift patterns
