Your Role
We are looking for dedicated individuals with prior experience in a professional care setting, to work within our complex care packages in the west Cumbria area. This is community-based role and will involve working with both Adults and Children.

- Promoting independence
- Managing behaviours and emotions
- Supporting with Autism, ADHD and Learning Difficulties
- Supporting sensory needs
- Managing medication
- Supporting with mental health
- Managing challenging behaviour
- Meal preparation
- Social enrichment
- Education support
- Personal care

- Previous experience within a professional care setting, preferably community based.
- Previous work experience and knowledge of autism, sensory impairments, challenging behaviour, complex care and mental health.
- Be strong willed and resilient
- Strong knowledge and experience in using alternative methods of communication
- Able to use own judgement and make informed decisions in emergency situations
- Able to work as part of team
- Knowledge of professional boundaries and safeguarding policies
