Our training division is rapidly growing, meeting increasing industry demand for high-quality, practical education that blends technical rigour with real-world application.

At HYDROP, we live our values: integrity, quality, and knowledge. As we expand our national training capability, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Training Delivery Consultant to join our high-performing team.

Role Overview

As a Training Delivery Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering accredited and bespoke training programmes in water hygiene and Legionella risk management to a broad range of audiences. Combining your consultancy expertise with excellent communication skills, you’ll translate complex regulations and technical standards into accessible, practical learning.

You’ll work closely with clients often in healthcare and other regulated sectors advising on water safety compliance and legislation while actively participating in audits, forums, and safety groups. This is a client-facing role requiring regular UK travel and occasional overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging training sessions both virtually and in-person, tailored to diverse client needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a trusted consultant, providing expert advice on water safety, Legionella risk, compliance, and NHS healthcare regulations.
  • Lead and support the development and adaptation of training materials to reflect evolving legislation and best practice.
  • Engage in Water Safety Group meetings, audits, and sector forums to maintain current, relevant content delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to expand training or consultancy engagements with clients, supporting business growth.
  • Conduct risk assessments using HYDROP’s methodologies to maintain technical credibility and operational relevance.
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism, integrity, and service delivery at all times.

  • Extensive experience in the water hygiene or water quality management industry, ideally in a consultancy or training role.
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant regulations, guidance, and statutory requirements (e.g., HTM 04-01, ACOP L8).
  • Confident trainer and presenter with experience delivering technical content to a range of audiences.
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to identify and convert opportunities into client engagements.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor content and style for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally with overnight stays as required.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain.
  • Previous experience training clients in the healthcare sector.
  • Recognised training qualification or accreditation.
  • Familiarity with electronic training platforms or LMS tools.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary of £40,000 – £50,000
  • Commission scheme (up to 6%)
  • Company car or car allowance
  • Ongoing training and CPD opportunities
  • Autonomy, variety, and the opportunity to influence industry standards
  • A collaborative environment focused on integrity, quality, and growth
