️A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
- Picking, packing and sorting orders in a fast-paced environment
- Getting hands-on with manual tasks, from handling to loading and unloading stock using a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) to handle
- Inventory Checks: Conducting regular counts on lanes to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Pallet Consolidation: Combining pallets for optimised space and efficiency.
- Cross Docking: Transferring goods directly from incoming to outgoing transport with minimal storage.
- Housekeeping: Ensuring recycling and maintaining a clean, organised warehouse.
- Operatives must follow correct safe systems of work and adhere to all health and safety policies.
- Previous warehouse experience is essential
- Previous use of PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) would be desirable
- Ability to adhere to health and safety policies
- A flexible, friendly approach with a can-do attitude
