What will you do?

As Warehouse Operations Manager, you'll lead daily operations of a high-performing warehouse facility of up to 40 colleagues across 2 shifts, encompassing both manual processes and automated systems. Your focus: secure service levels, optimise resources, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Your r Esponsibilities Will Be To

• Lead all warehouse activities (manual and automated) to ensure operational excellence.
• Oversee staffing, capacity planning, performance, and safety standards.
• Drive continuous improvement through Lean practices and the Volvo Production System (VPS).
• Support digitalisation and automation initiatives that improve throughput and service.
• Monitor KPI's and implement strategic actions to meet delivery and productivity goals.
• Foster a culture of safety, development, and accountability.
• Engage cross-functional teams to align operations with broader logistics goals.
• Coach and develop team members to promote long-term growth.

You Will Have

• Strong experience managing both traditional warehouse operations and automated warehousing systems.
• Proven leadership in logistics or distribution centre environments.
• Understanding of lean principles, resource planning, and performance tracking.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and automation technology.
• Strong people leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Passion for continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence.
