DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Data & Bi Analyst to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:


  • Reporting to the Accelerated Digitalisation Lead for the account, you will work closely with key account stakeholders and site operational teams in order to improve value for the customer and DHL's cost to serve.
  • You will support delivery of an I.T. agenda that is aligned to the customer's ambitions and corresponding internal objectives.
  • Creating & maintaining Power BI reports.
  • Creation and use of data flows and data sets in Power BI.
  • Using Microsoft SQL Server as a data source for Power BI Reports and Data Flows.
  • Dealing with data within SQL, such as transport metrics, vendor information.


WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Power BI – building, maintaining, and optimizing visually impactful reports.
  • Skilled in data flows, datasets, and integrating with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Proficient in Excel and Power Query.
  • Hands-on experience with data ETL processes.
  • Experience configuring Power BI Data Flows and Gateways.
  • Proven ability to build complex and visually engaging Power BI dashboards.
  • Familiarity with Power Automate and/or PowerApps.
  • Experience with DAX/M scripting in Power BI.
  • Knowledge of the Logistics / Road Haulage industry.
  • Previous experience as part of a digital or transformation project team.
