We are recruiting a Warehouse Lead. Under the guidance of the UK Logistics Manager, the Warehouse Lead will be responsible for overseeing all daily logistics and distribution activities at the Brentwood Warehouse for Ethypharm UK and its third-party suppliers. This is a key role in ensuring the efficient flow of operations and supply chain management.

Day-to-day responsibilities

  • Leads Brentwood operators with coaching and identifies talent for progression within the team
  • Liaise within the supply chain team to ensure correct receipt and distribution of product within agreed timelines and under Good Manufacturing and Distribution Practice (GMDP) & regulatory standards GDP
  • Manage relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Act as main operational point of contact for our 3rd part distribution partner
  • Supporting both in-house and 3rd party planning team where required to ensure CMO inbound freight and contractual obligations are being adhered to
  • To work closely with the SAP team to drive and understand changes required to improve the Warehouse efficiency and accuracy
  • Manage UK 3PL partner - To ensure products are effectively managed and received for distributio
  • Organise shipping for EXW suppliers with relevant transport solution - balancing cost and service

About you

The ideal candidate will display strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while coordinating with internal teams and third-party suppliers.

Skills/Experience

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
  • Demonstrable experience working in a leadership role in a warehouse distribution environment
  • Experienced in creating SOP's, change controls, incident reporting and deviations
  • Fully trained MHE operator
  • All areas of warehousing, including but not limited to goods in, despatch and stock adjustment and reconciliation procedures
  • Experience operating in an SAP driven environment (desirable)
  • NVQ Warehousing and Storage (desirable)
