The Role

The Role

Key Responsibilities Of The Science Teacher
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Inspire students to engage with Science, fostering their curiosity and passion for learning.
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure their success.
- Support students in their preparation for assessments, exams, and coursework.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and inclusive learning environment.
- Ensure effective classroom management, maintaining a positive and stimulating environment conducive to learning.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Science.
- Experience teaching Science at secondary level across KS3 and KS4.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection, with all applicants required to undergo background checks, including an enhanced DBS.
