QTS Science Teacher

Location: Brentwood

Pay Scale: £100-£230 per day

Contract Type: Full-Time

Start Date: ASAP

The Role

As a Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging and stimulating lessons across all key stages, fostering curiosity and a love for science. You will be responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing students' progress in accordance with the National Curriculum. Collaboration with other teachers to enhance cross-curricular links and student development will also be key to the role.

Key Responsibilities Of The Science Teacher

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Inspire students to engage with Science, fostering their curiosity and passion for learning.
• Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure their success.
• Support students in their preparation for assessments, exams, and coursework.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and inclusive learning environment.
• Ensure effective classroom management, maintaining a positive and stimulating environment conducive to learning.
  
  

Essential Requirements Of The Science Teacher

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Science.
• Experience teaching Science at secondary level across KS3 and KS4.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection, with all applicants required to undergo background checks, including an enhanced DBS.
