DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Clerk to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
- Ensuring stock counts are carried out accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintaining Warehouse Management Systems and ensuring compliance at all times
- Investigating all stock discrepancies and issues to report on conclusions and suggestions
- Advising Stock and Warehouse Management of any large discrepancies
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment. Experience within a stock/inventory role is advantageous
- Experience using a Warehouse Management System, ideally this will be with Manhattan Active
- Good IT skills - experience of Microsoft Office including Excel is essential
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
- Ability to work unsupervised whilst using own initiative
