Ocean Infinity is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support the Warehouse Manager in overseeing the Ocean Infinity hangars and workshops, while collaborating with the logistics department as needed.


What you will do:

  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager regarding hangar and secure yard operations;
  • Adhere to established procedures to ensure consistent routines are followed by all team members;
  • Provide basic technical support for equipment operation, maintenance, and handling;
  • Utilise inventory software and assist in maintaining the asset register;
  • Oversee the Deliveries IN process: receive, log, and assist with the distribution of tools, components, and materials;
  • Ensure workshops receive undamaged and accounted-for stock;
  • Operate company vehicles to collect and deliver equipment locally when required;
  • Conduct limited inspections and essential maintenance of workshop equipment, (indoor/outdoor);
  • Assist in keeping equipment certifications and calibrations current, including lifting/mechanical instruments;
  • Understand the use of electrical power, compressed air, and hand tools safely, adhering to health and safety regulations;
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workspace in compliance with Health and Safety legislation;
  • Support the logistics team with packaging, preparation, shipping, and courier delivery arrangements when required;
  • Manage waste disposal, including recyclable, hazardous, or specialist waste;
  • Perform additional tasks necessary for the departments or company’s effective operation;


Who you are:

  • Familiarity with Inventory/Logistics/Finance software (e.g., Oracle NetSuite) or the ability to quickly learn and integrate new systems and workflows;
  • Forklift Truck (B1) license;
  • Understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) practices (e.g., HIRA, PtW, TBT);
  • Proficiency in basic IT tools, particularly MS Office;
  • IPAF certification;
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism;
  • Thoughtful, thorough, and conscientious;
  • A strong team player who strives for the best outcomes for the team;
  • Capable in time management and able to prioritize in fast-paced environments;
  • Possess strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills;
  • Proactive and self-motivated, working effectively with minimal supervision;
  • Open to new ideas and willing to take initiative;


If candidates lack experience in any of the above areas, they must demonstrate a foundational understanding and a readiness to be trained and take on these responsibilities.


Salary for this position: Up to £35,000 per annum


Salary: The salary varies for this position as we are recruiting in multiple regional locations and job grades. The salary process is based on skills, abilities, and experience required.
