JOB ROLE: Waking Night Support Worker
LOCATION: Skewen, Neath (SA10)
SALARY: £12.60 - £13.30* per hour
SHIFT PATTERNS: 08:30-21:00PM & 21:00-08:30AM
Due to continued growth, we are urgently seeking full time (35 hours per week) Waking Night Support Workers to join our team in Skewen, Neath – part time and temporary/bank hours may be considered.

Ffordd Newydd is a residential transitional Mental Health service, supporting 6 people within their own individual studio apartments. We are passionate about enabling people to make their own choices about the support they receive. We do everything we can to improve the health and wellbeing of the individuals we support and as a team we are focused on building positive outcomes for everyone. We understand the importance of providing person-centred support which enables independence and meets individual’s needs.
As a Waking Night Support Worker, You Will Be Involved In The Day To Day Support And Routine Of The People Within The Service Including
Keys Group supports over 2,500 individuals across England and Wales through its three divisions: Accomplish, providing specialist residential, supported living, and accommodation for adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, and brain injuries; Keys, offering education and care for children and families through schools, children’s homes, supported accommodation, and family assessment centres; and Peak, delivering indoor and outdoor adventure activities across four UK centres, including bespoke education programs and confidence-building activities like bushcraft, climbing, and canoeing.

As a Waking Night Support Worker, You Will Be Involved In The Day To Day Support And Routine Of The People Within The Service Including
- Prompting service users independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life
- Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests
- Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying service users to routine appointments or administrating medication
- Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping
- Assisting with personal care (Depending on service user)
- Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking
- Annual leave - 5.6 weeks holiday per year
- DBS Check – We cover the cost of your DBS check and further renewals
