What are we looking for?
Skills and experience in one or more of the following areas Fundraising, Marketing, Communications including social media Minimum 3 years work experience Ability to attend in person and online meetings on a monthly basis and to provide regular input and support for the Board and the operational team
What will you be doing?
Trustee role with specialist knowledge of fundraising, marketing, communications and/ or social media. The Star Bereavement Board is a voluntary group of experienced and skilled individuals who manage the governance and strategy of the Star Bereavement charity. Their involvement and skill directly influences the support received by bereaved children and young people and make a huge difference to the lives of children, young people, young adults and families across the Wakefield District. By joining the Board as a Trustee you will support Star Bereavement in ensuring its strategy is implemented. You will guide and advise the Board on one or all of the following Fundraising, Marketing, Communications including social media. Do you have experience in fundraising, marketing, communications, social media? If so we would love to hear from you There is a minimum commitment of 5 hours per month and the expectation of attendance at monthly Board meetings
