We're seeking a creative and versatile Content Creator to join our team at Bright, developing engaging multimedia content that resonates with accounting professionals and small-to-medium enterprises across the UK, Ireland, and Australia. You'll be responsible for creating compelling video, audio, and social media content that educates, informs, and engages our target audience of accountants, bookkeepers, payroll professionals, and SME decision-makers.

The Role
We're seeking a creative and versatile Content Creator to join our team at Bright, developing engaging multimedia content that resonates with accounting professionals and small-to-medium enterprises across the UK, Ireland, and Australia. You'll be responsible for creating compelling video, audio, and social media content that educates, informs, and engages our target audience of accountants, bookkeepers, payroll professionals, and SME decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
Video Production
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video concepts and storyboards that align with our brand image and marketing objectives.
- Film and edit high-quality videos for marketing promotional purposes and to produce training videos on our software to be used across various platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
- Utilise video editing software and tools to create, edit and enhance footage, incorporating graphics, animations and music.
- Manage the video production process to create a cohesive and visually appealing product that effectively communicates the desired message.
- Create engaging content including podcast episodes, webinar recordings, and educational series
- Design and write social media content optimised for LinkedIn, Twitter, and other professional networks
- Produce educational content that simplifies complex accounting, payroll, and business topics
- Develop content calendars and maintain consistent publishing schedules across all channels
- Create content that addresses the specific pain points and challenges of accounting professionals and SMEs
- Create informative content that showcases Bright's expertise and industry knowledge
- Engage with community feedback and incorporate audience insights into content planning
- Adapt content tone and messaging for different regional markets and professional contexts
- Monitor and analyse the performance of content on social media platforms and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Film, edit, and post-produce video content using professional editing software
- Record and edit audio content with attention to sound quality and professional presentation
- Create visually appealing graphics, thumbnails, and social media assets
- Ensure all content meets brand guidelines and maintains consistent quality standards
Experience & Skills
- 1-3 years of content creation experience, preferably in B2B or professional services
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
- Experience with audio editing and podcast production
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics in an accessible way
- Understanding of social media best practices, particularly LinkedIn for professional audiences
- Video production skills including filming, lighting, and audio recording
- Graphic design capabilities using tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
- Experience creating content for B2B businesses and professional audiences
- Knowledge of SEO and content optimization strategies
- Analytics reporting
