As an Infrastructure Architect at Dassault Systèmes, you will be responsible for planning, installing, operating and troubleshooting Dassault Systèmes software installations at customers with a focus on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform.

You will be expected to define and deliver a stable, reliable and sustainable 3DEXPERIENCE platform Infrastructure, fully integrated within the customer IT Landscape, leveraging the different phases of the Value Engagement framework

Role Description & Responsibilities

  • Design and document the technical integration of DS solutions within the customer's current information system following standard architectural design methods, patterns and best practices
  • Ensure that the solution is aligned with the Security, the SLA and the Performance, the Scalability, the Capacity expectations of the Customer
  • Communicate and engage with DS R&D Teams to provide support with validated advice and recommendations
  • Lead workshops with customers to gather requirements and IT Landscape information
  • Share expertise with customers on change management regarding infrastructure processes
  • Conduct Audits on existing 3DEXPERIENCE Solutions and deliver documentation with prioritised recommendations
  • Contribute to Request for Information / Request for Proposal / definition of the Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Follow and evolve Best Practices for 3DEXPERIENCE Platform Delivery
  • Identify and develop additional revenues opportunities
  • Provide guidance to and Empower Consultants, System Integrators (C&SI) on technical Architecture topics
  • Support customer facing activities including travel to customer sites

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering or Advanced Sciences
  • Familiarity with Multi-Layer Web Application Technologies
  • Operating systems administration on Windows and Linux including scripting skills – bash, PowerShell, …
  • Database installation & configuration: MS SQL Server and Oracle
  • Networking Layer 4 to 7 – TCP, HTTPS, Loadbalancing, Reverse Proxy, debugging
  • Web based Application Performance Analysis, Troubleshooting and Tuning – Java, Tomcat
  • DevOps and CI/CD toolchains – Ansible, Git*, AAP, Jenkins preferred
  • English language (business fluent) is mandatory.

Experience

  • 5 plus years’ experience in PLM implementation/deployment/operation
  • Experience in software architecture, data migration, Performance, Capacity, Scalability (PCS) and PLM concepts
  • Knowledge of and execution in conformance with Change Management and Delivery processes

In addition, the following would be advantageous:

  • 3DEXPERIENCE Platform architecture
  • Knowledge and experience of working within Agile delivery and use of Atlassian toolsets
  • Programming/Development skills
  • Monitoring stacks (e.g. InfluxDB, Grafana, Elastic)
  • IaaS Cloud providers (AWS, Azure)
  • Dassault Systèmes software solutions (CATIA, SolidWorks, 3DEXPERIENCE SaaS)
  • TOGAF or similar accreditation
