The role

A successful Junior Video Editor will be a creative individual who understands all elements of producing a finished quality film or video for social media, specifically Facebook and YouTube. You’ll get involved in all aspects of our clients’ profiles, using your unique editing perspective to support the rest of the team on ideation, planning, creation and post-production of content. Plus, you'll have the amazing opportunity to work with and edit for our amazing roster of content creators!

Key Responsibilities

  • You will produce high-quality video edits for a vast array of clients across numerous different creative categories.
  • You will be part of a fast-paced team and take initiative in the diverse array of editing projects you will find yourself on.
  • You will work to targets set by a line manager to increase productivity and output.
  • You will report to your line manager and the wider team weekly on video performance, with an analysis.
  • You will gain the opportunity to learn platform-specific editing from industry experts and contribute to our feedback sessions where we analyse and debate creative and editing like no one else in the game.

What We’re Looking For

  • You have video editing and sound recording knowledge (including Premiere Pro).
  • You have a background in social media or a creative background.
  • You have a good understanding of social media more generally.
  • You are passionate, creative and have a fire to produce amazing content.
  • You have the ability to prioritise and cope with last-minute changes (e.g., scripts & setups).
  • You have excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You are a quick learner, who is naturally proactive.
  • You have the ability to work effectively as part of a team and alone.
  • You have initiative, flexibility, adaptability, common sense, and problem-solving skills.
  • You have the ability to remain calm and level-headed under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • You have stamina, persistence, enthusiasm, motivation, and a proactive manner.
  • You are excited by the opportunity of working for a fast-paced digital media company.
  • You believe in our values and want to implement and amplify them in your role.
