Veterinary Surgeon
Medivet
Date: 1 week ago
City: Watford
Contract type: Part time

Remuneration
£75,000 per year.
The Opportunity
Looking to join a supportive team with a multitude of skills in the heart of Hertfordshire? Our 24 hour Hospital in Watford is waiting for you.
Your new team is professional and personable just like you and - just like you - they are committed to delivering exceptional care to both patients and clients, going beyond consulting to listen and empathise to our clients and patients.
The practice is well-equipped with two consult rooms, separate dog and cat wards, two theatres; one orthopaedic and the other soft tissue, separate suites for diagnostics; digital x-ray, ultrasound and CT, dental facilities, fully equipped endoscopy including rhinoscopy, bronchoscopy, gastroscopy and laparoscopy, in-house laboratory including the basics as well as coagulation profiles and iSTAT, dedicated isolation ward and staff rest facilities.
Many of our vets and nurses are certificate holders or are in the process of gaining them which aids us in running to a high standard, similarly to a referral hospital. We regularly see and currently specialise in internal medicine; diagnosing and treating complex medical cases, diagnostic imaging in cardiology and CT, advanced orthopaedics; including spinal surgeries and hip replacements, small animal soft tissue surgeries and emergency & critical care cases.
This is a full-time role working 39 hours per week over four days plus 1:6 full weekends, we are also open to part time. This role is to cover maternity.
If you would like to discuss this role in further detail please contact Cherell at [email protected]
