Veterinary Receptionist

Taverham Veterinary Hospital is looking for a full-time receptionist to join our superstar reception team. As well as being an outstanding receptionist, roles may also include being on the 'shop floor', focusing on delivering an excellent customer experience, making sure that we can offer the gold standard service that we have always strived for.

Duties:

• Greeting and assisting clients
• Managing appointment scheduling
• Maintaining accurate records using our computer systems
• Handling client enquiries both in person and over the phone

With our hospital branch in Taverham and a third branch practice in Aylsham, we’re a leading veterinary team in the region. We have a large team of 34 Veterinary Surgeons, 41 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 5 Student Veterinary Nurses, 9 Animal Nursing Assistants, and 30+ Support Staff. Many of our vets and nurses hold additional qualifications across multiple disciplines. We’re also passionate about giving back! We proudly support StreetVet Norwich, helping pets of those experiencing homelessness, and work closely with Dogs Trust, performing hydrotherapy to their residents. Our team regularly fundraises, with our latest charity event raising over £2,000!

More about you

We are looking for candidates with proven reception knowledge, computer literate and have experience in providing excellent care and enjoy working in a busy environment to join our Longwater team.

Working pattern

You will work approximately. 38.63 hours per week, covering shifts between 9 am - 5:30 pm Mon - Fri, with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings 8:30 am - 1 pm.
