At Change Grow Live you will be working with people to help them change the direction of their life, grow as an individual, and live life to its full potential. As a Veterans Support Volunteer, you will be working in close collaboration with our team and the Veterans support service assisting them in further developing our veterans support and ensuring that Veterans are made aware of the opportunities that are available to them. Your own experiences would be paramount in supporting Veterans to access the service and utilise the additional opportunities available to them. You will be an integral team member and will play an active role in helping our service users achieve their goals. You will receive training and support within the role.

Key Activities
- Actively support the Veterans support service to develop and provide quality services to our veterans that are in service with us.
- Support 11 key work session including harm reduction advice and recovery planning.
- Support Veterans who use our services to achieve their care plan goals
- Support and empower service users to engage in recovery activities both within Change Grow Live, the wider community and the Veterans support service.
- Support Veterans to attended appointments with in CGL and partnership agencies.
- Being a voice and advocating for Veterans in service supporting in the development of pathways and opportunities for Veterans within the wider service.
