What difference will you make?
As a trustee, you will help Learning Space maximise the impact it has by providing strategic guidance and oversight. By helping the charity build a great team, spend its money carefully, have excellent governance, raise more funds and engage with stakeholders, you'll help more children, young people and their families achieve their best hopes.
What are we looking for?
Our trustees need to provide governance and strategic leadership. This means working as part of a team to have an oversight of the charity, provide leadership and to support the team who deliver our work.
If you can bring any of the following professional skills that would be a bonus IT management, information governance, business process improvement, legal, HR, fundraising, solution focused approaches, evidence-based practice in mental health and emotional wellbeing, impact measurement, community engagement.
What will you be doing?
Learning Space's vision is young people thriving. We work towards this vision by supporting the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children, young people and families. The charity is based in the south of England and was established in 1997.
We are looking for trustees who can bring skills, experiences and perspectives to support Learning Space in its constant drive to having more impact.
Providing governance and strategic leadership is the core of the work. We are particularly looking for people who can bring the following professional skills IT management, company/charity/family law, solution focused approaches, evidence-based practice and improvement in mental health and emotional wellbeing, impact measurement, community engagement.
As well as expanding our skills, we want to continue to broaden the diversity of the board. We are very keen to hear from people who can bring a perspective not represented on the board.
