Are you a self-motivated professional who is eager and passionate to work as a Configuration Analyst? We are hiring for a Configurations Analyst who would be based in one our office in Redhill. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in managing the touchpoint between the core development and client systems teams and as such you would gain a good understanding of the full systems structure, with multiple avenues for professional development.
In this role you will report to the Lead Configuration Analyst, with the primary focus in ensuring all client configuration creation and change activities are executed to time, budget and quality as well as being technically minded and adept at understanding, documenting and communicating the context and impact of configuration changes within a system.

The Role
- Produce and interpret configuration requirements for functionality within the BenefitConnect system
- Analyze and interpret changes to data structure or configuration made by the development teams
- Work closely with new clients and Installs and Data Migration teams and other owners in GB Outsourcing non technology teams involved in the business change to ensure that the implementation of new clients and client changes achieve high quality outcomes within the administration function post implementation
- Discuss the changes and their functional impact with the dtevelopment teams
- Document the configuration options associated with the data changes
- Work with the Lead Configuration and other configuration analysts to determine the best way to apply client-specific configuration
- Liaise with the development teams to confirm changes to the data structure and work through the functional implications of any change, documenting new changes and discuss them with the client systems teams
- Carry out validation and testing of the configuration change liaising with QA function as required
- Apply your skills as a member of a focused, technically competent data team that prides themselves on excellence.
- Understand the generic impact of data items within the system and understand the context in which such items would be set and
- Interpret business or legislative requirements in relation to their practical impact.
The Requirements
- Experience in dealing with DC, DB or Hybrid occupational pension schemes
- Experience using direct database tools like SQL preferred or Excel
- Understanding of database table design and dependencies
- Strong Analytical skills
- Experience in data comparison
- Strong Interpersonal skills including strong written and verbal communication
- Strong time management skills and the ability to organise workloads for both yourself, and others
- Some understanding of the UK pensions technical landscape is preferred or exposure in interpreting multiple (sometimes seemingly conflicting) requirements.
