Timber Yard Operatives

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Worker to join our team. As a Yard Worker, you will be responsible for performing various duties related to shipping, receiving, and materials handling. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the ability to operate equipment such as forklifts. If you have experience in warehouse management systems and possess mechanical knowledge, we encourage you to apply.

Hours are Monday to Friday 08.00-17.00pm.

Tasks

Duties

• Picking and packing wood products outside in a yard.
• Organize and maintain inventory in the yard. Machine operating and minding.
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
  
  

Requirements

Experience:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or yard setting is preferred.
• Proficient in materials handling techniques. Ability to work outdoors in all weathers.
