Warehouse Operatives

Our clients urgently require a variety of jobs to be filled -

• Machine Operatives.
• Hygiene Operatives.
• Dispatch Operatives - Must have PPT Forklift experience or licence.
• Injection Moulding Operatives.
• Grinding Operatives.
• Production Operatives.
• Mixing Operatives.
• Van Drivers.
• General Labourers / Yard Operatives.
  
  

Pay is between £11.44-15.57 per hour.

Plus overtime is available.

Ongoing and long term work.

Tasks

• Assisting with the unloading of vehicles and the checking in of stock.
• Sorting and placing materials or items onto racks, and shelves.
• Collecting items from throughout the warehouse, preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to a schedule.
• Performing warehouse inventory controls via scanner and or through a computer.
• Stock counting and location checks.
  
  

As a warehouse operative you will be working both alone and as part of a team with efficiency and commitment to complete your work and strive to maintain the business performance targets.

Various shifts available are -

• 06.00-14.00pm Monday to Friday.
• 14.00-22.00pm Monday to Friday.
• 18.00-06.00am - Following shift rota.
• 06.00-18.00pm - Following shift rota.
• 06.00-18.00pm and 18.00-06.00am - Rotating shifts.
• 08.00-16.30pm - Monday to Friday.
• 22.00-06.00am - Monday to Friday.
• 08.00-17.00pm - Monday to Friday.
• 06.00-17.00pm - Monday to Thursday.
• 06.00-13.30pm, 13.30-21.00pm and 21.00-06.00am - Rotating three shift system.

The fast paced and energised environment relies on organisation and efficiency and with so much ground to cover in the line of duty it is important to ensure that you have a moderate level of fitness to enable you to comfortably carry out your tasks.

Picking and packing products can involve a substantial amount of manual handling including bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching and lifting. Having a good range of mobility is important to ensure you can work safely within health and safety regulations without placing undue strain on your body.
