A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As an advanced Test engineer at MKS INSTRUMENTS based in CREWE, you will partner with our engineering team and will report to Mark our engineering Director.

You will make an impact by:

  • Develop and execute test plans with engineering team to validate performance against requirements.
  • Perform functional, performance, regression testing, and reporting on existing and new products.
  • Identify and track performance and software defects to the engineering team.
  • Stay updated with the current testing tools, techniques and methodologies.
  • Identify testing limitations in state-of-the-art vacuum measurement equipment and drive the testing technology to new levels.

Skills you will bring:

  • A bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or other related field.
  • A relevant experience in product testing and reporting.
  • Knowledge and experience in statistical methods of data analysis.
  • Experience with LabVIEW and Python programming desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Preferrable Skills:

  • Data base development experience a plus.
  • Experience in electronics a plus.
  • Experience in vacuum technology a plus.
