We are seeking a talented and motivated Technical Administrator - Manufacturing Engineering to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Role Summary
Manufacturing Engineering Technical Administrator shall allow the individual to support the team of Manufacturing Engineering team on a number of key functions within the Falmouth Production Value stream(s).
This position is required to facilitate and improve production standards produced and maintained by manufacturing engineering team. Key responsibility areas will be; Process and Procedure documentation (Build Instructions / SOP’s), Optimise the life cycle of assets and facilities within the Value Stream (Accuent/TPM systems), Coordinating Management of Change systems (PLM/ Trackwise).
The individual will develop their knowledge and understanding of business functions to enable the delivery of customer orders, through manufacturing procedures, the enterprise resource planning system and wider business systems..
What you’ll be doing:
Support and develop a select number of improvement projects with the manufacturing engineering team, the individual will manage their workload within a larger team to agreed timescales.
To identify and implement improvements to the pump production cells through the Operation Excellence framework and manufacturing engineering principles.
Undertake continuous training and development with internal courses (THRIVE) & potential for external training.
Manage incoming work demands adapting to changing priorities in a fast paced work environment.
Work cross functionally with other departments to enable manufacturing excellence with the pumps department.
Embody the Watson Marlow core values, and consistently promote high standards through personal conduct.

You will be working across all business units within the organisation
Internal Stakeholders:
Value Streams: Collaborate closely with the production value streams to ensure manufacturing processes are sufficiently documented
Quality Department: Work with QA to maintain high standards and address any quality issues promptly.
Skills/Experience:
This is what you’ll need to be successful in this role
Experience / understanding manufacturing processes and engineering based work experience.
Experience of working within a team/project based work.
Experience/Evidence of managing workload and deadlines.
Experienced user of MS office Packages (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Be a team player, organized and have the ability to work on own initiative
