As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for a Tech Audio Designer to join the team and help us in crafting the high calibre games our fans have come to expect.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the technical Audio Vision under the supervision of the Tech Audio Director.
  • Execute and maintain the entire audio pipeline, from asset production through implementation, integration, and deployment.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and feature groups to ensure smooth execution.
  • Design and implement Wwise systems.
  • Write and maintain scripts for the audio pipeline.
  • Support and mentor junior Tech Audio Team members.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of the Game Audio pipeline from asset creation to soundscape design.
  • Knowledge of scripting systems to develop customized, scalable automated solutions.
  • Build pipelines to support Sound Designers in delivering creative output.
  • Expertise in Wwise.
  • Exposure to or understanding of building Wwise plugins.
  • Experience working in the games industry.
  • Strong understanding of general audio production, including asset creation, mixing, and mastering.

Nice to haves

  • Proficient in creating and supporting node-based systems
  • Basic knowledge in programming
