Teaching Assistant (TA) Programme

Location: Lincoln

Salary: £85 - £100 per day (Depending on experience)

Start time: Immediate

Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time

If so, GSL Education are offering an exciting opportunity through our Teaching Assistant (TA) Programme in Lincolnshire Secondary, SEN, and Primary schools. If you have experience in care, working with vulnerable adults, or roles involving children such as sports coaching or children's entertainment, we want to hear from you.

As part of the Teaching Assistant (TA) Programme, you will be working across a variety of schools, assisting teachers and staff with classroom management, supporting individual students, and helping to create a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities Of The Teaching Assistant (TA) Programme

  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and supporting the learning needs of students.
  • Provide one-on-one support or work with small groups of students.
  • Help with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Support students with special educational needs (SEN), as required.
  • Be an active part of the school team, working with other staff members to ensure a safe, productive learning experience for all students.
  • Assist with admin tasks and prepare classroom materials.

Requirements Of The Teaching Assistant (TA) Programme

  • Previous experience working with children or vulnerable adults, such as in care, sports coaching, or children's entertainment.
  • A passion for working with young people and helping them achieve their potential.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with students and staff.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • No formal teaching qualifications required, just a desire to help and learn in a school setting.
  • Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
