Teaching Assistant in Primary School

A positive attitude and a passion for helping children learn are a must! This role is offering 42.5 hours per week on a full time basis. The school prides themselves in their high level of staff training to offer the absolute best to their students, they firmly believe positive relationships with the adults around them, is key to success of the children they work with.

Responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher in creating a positive learning environment
• Support students in their academic and personal development
• Help with classroom management and behavior strategies
• Provide one-to-one or small group support as directed by the teacher
• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events
  
  

Requirements

• A positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for working with children
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff
• Flexibility and adaptability to work with different age groups and in various subjects
• A willingness to learn and develop professionally
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
