Job Duties
- Supporting teachers in the delivery of lessons
- Assisting with classroom management
- Working with individual students or small groups to provide extra support
- Helping to create educational resources
- Supervising students during break times and outings
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Experience working with children or young people
Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Experience
Prior experience working with children or young people
Knowledge And Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Patience and empathy
- Basic understanding of educational principles
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but essential)
- Work primarily takes place within a school setting
- May require occasional participation in school events outside of normal hours
