In this role, you’ll be supporting four fantastic individuals with learning disabilities, helping them lead active, fulfilling lives. Each person we support has access to their own vehicle to promote independence, so a full UK driving licence is essential.

- Day shifts: 7:30 am – 3:00 pm or 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm
- Waking night shifts: 8:00 pm – 8:00 am (enhanced rates) Experience working with adults with complex needs A full UK manual driving licence (you’ll be driving mobility vehicles) Various part time hours with waking nights as extra **Due to the specific needs of the individuals we support [and current legal guidance], this role is only open to applicants who are biologically female. What is the role?
As a Support Worker, you’ll be involved in all aspects of day-to-day support, including:
- Administering medication
- Preparing meals and supporting with mealtimes
- Laundry and household cleaning
- Accompanying on shopping trips and running errands
- Supporting relationships with friends, family, and the local community
- Taking part in leisure activities, such as swimming, cinema trips, and days out
- Advocating for their needs, preferences, and choices
- Providing personal care, with dignity and respect
- Assisting with manual handling as required

- Previous care experience working with adults with complex needs
- A passion to work with and enable people to live as independent a life as possible
- An enthusiasm and passion for making a difference to people’s lives
- A strong initiative and ability to work alone as well as being a great team player
What are the pay and benefits?
- An hourly rate of £12.75 making the annual salary £ 24,531 (FTE)
- “Wakeful night” rate which includes a 20% uplift
