What The Job Looks Like

Each day you’ll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

  • Lead strategic communications for a variety of topics, primarily focusing on corporate strategy, financial results, and commercial initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders including the Head of Corporate Strategy, CFO, and CCO.
  • Develop and execute communication strategies for M&A activities and key business milestones.
  • Create compelling narratives across internal and external channels (e.g., town halls, intranet, social media).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Finance, and Strategy teams to support strategic initiatives.
  • Shape Grünenthal’s transformation story for global audiences through impactful storytelling.
  • Support planning, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the global communications function.


What You Should Bring To The Table

To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • University degree in communications, marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in strategic communications within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate strategy and financials into engaging messaging.
  • Demonstrated success in leading communication for M&A, product launches, or transformation programs.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across all hierarchy levels.
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on execution and accountability for outcomes.
  • Fluency in business English; German language skills are a plus.
