The Strategic Asset Manager will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing an organisation-wide asset management strategy.
- Overseeing lifecycle planning and risk management for assets.
- Leading data governance and integrating data sources for accurate asset insights.
- Collaborating on strategic planning and capital forecasting.
- Ensuring compliance and assurance alignment with asset strategies.
- Engaging with stakeholders to influence asset priorities.
- Monitoring asset performance and driving continuous improvement.
The ideal Strategic Asset Manager will have:
- Knowledge of strategic asset management and lifecycle planning in complex environments.
- Familiarity with facilities management and relevant statutory frameworks.
- Experience with CAFM systems, particularly Maximo.
- Understanding of risk-based maintenance and data governance.
- Skills in long-term capital investment planning and operational delivery.
- Awareness of digital asset management trends.
- Qualifications from the Institute of Asset Management and relevant engineering or technical disciplines.
- A full UK driving licence and ability to meet security and residency requirements.
