We are looking for a Stock and Systems Specialist which is for a key role at our logistics site in Sittingbourne.
The responsibilities of this role include:
- Inbound stock delivery: Ensuring the efficient and accurate receipt of stock into the warehouse.
- Reconciling offsite and onsite storage: Managing stock across different storage locations and systems to maintain accurate records.
- Outbound dispatching of stock: Ensuring accurate and timely shipment of stock to customers or other sites.
- Discrepancy elimination: Proactively resolving any discrepancies in stock levels or records throughout the process.
- Efficient stock takes: Conducting regular stock takes to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- System management: Ensuring proper alignment of systems and correct pricing setup on all relevant systems.
- Financial compliance: Fully reconciling stock to ensure compliance with external financial audits.
- Project work: Undertaking additional projects to improve stock movement processes.
- Shipping management: Owning and managing the shipping process for stock to be sold.
- Depot discrepancy process: Leading and managing the process for resolving discrepancies within the depot.
- Sales orders and PO corrections: Handling corrections and updates to sales orders and purchase orders.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Previous experience managing high value stock and experience of stock management.
- An in-depth knowledge of warehouse processes.
- Strong relationship building skills as you’ll work with teams both internally and externally.
- Clearly communicates with colleagues of all levels, suppliers and vendors.
- The ability to work well under pressure
