The Sr. Lead, Sports Marketing – UK will be responsible for our Athlete, influencer, partnership, and grassroots portfolio. This role is accountable for budgets associated with the business and delivering on the marketing strategies for the region & category. Duties will include acquiring, managing, servicing, and activating our portfolio of athletes, Influencers, and partnerships. This role will work cross-functionally with internal teammates in Product, Innovation, Content, Brand, Ops, Legal, Finance, Comms, Strategy, Events, and Retail/Wholesale. The candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to think creatively and resourcefully.

Your Impact
- Manages Athlete, Partnership, Grassroots, and Influencer recruitment, negotiations, onboarding, servicing and events..
- Manages UK sports marketing asset integration into the GTM process and heavily influences our athlete selection for campaigns and activations.
- Assists in the execution of seeding products, inputs & forecasts orders when necessary for Athletes, Partnerships, and Influencers.
- Manages external communication with Athletes, Agents, Partners, and influencers.
- Responsible for managing internal budgets including T&E, Asset and Marketing expenses.
- Expected to work cross-functionally with business partners in Product, Innovation, Finance, Brand, and Ops. Global Strategy, Communication and Events.
- Bachelor's degree with typically 10 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with typically 8 years of relevant experience or typically 14 years of relevant experience without degree.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of grassroots and professional football and sports landscape
- Superior negotiation and communication skills to achieve successful partnerships & collaborations.
- Proven experience working well with others to maintain and build cross-functional (internal and external) relationships including agency partners, internal clients, editors, and influencers.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of short and long-term marketing strategies.
- Budgeting experience to manage financial resources effectively to support marketing initiatives and achieve desired outcomes.
- Location: UK home office
- Return to Work Designation: Fully remote
- Travel: 25% - 50% of the year
