Job title: Specialist/Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist
Location: Our head office base is in Oldham, with most available work in the North of England. There are also opportunities across the rest of the UK to provide both face to face and remote services.

ATtherapy are a thriving independent Speech and Language Therapy company who work with children and adults with communication difficulties, due to a learning disability, acquired brain injury or other physical difficulties. We have an exciting job opportunity for a speech and language therapist to join our highly specialist team consisting of speech and language therapists, assistants, assistive technologists, ATMentors and business support staff.
Summary
We are recruiting a specialist/highly specialist speech and language therapist to join our established and friendly team in the field of acquired brain injury and complex communication needs. We have a caseload split of approx. 20% adults and 80% paediatrics: many of our clients having physical disabilities alongside complex communication challenges. We are proud to provide innovative, current evidence-based therapy approaches. We are specialists in brain injury and associated difficulties including language impairment, dysphagia, SEMH and AAC. Our mission is to build richer lives through communication.
Our Approach
Our team provides an exceptional quality of direct and indirect intervention for clients with a wide range of communication challenges. We support clients and their families/teams to achieve the best that they can achieve and become as independent as possible with their communication. The clients and their families remain at the core. We value greatly the importance of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team with other professions and support clients from a range of funding backgrounds including local authorities and those in the medico-legal system.

You will be working as part of a friendly and skilled team to provide the highest quality clinical intervention to children and adults with brain injury through being the leading experts in the field of brain injury and communication. At ATtherapy, we encourage innovation and work collaboratively to engage in research and participate in a range of innovative projects. We have visiting academic status with Manchester Metropolitan University.
