How You’ll Make An Impact
(Note: this is a Software Engineer position. We have separate positions open for Cloud Engineers, SRE or Infrastructure engineers)
As enterprises worldwide increasingly invest in the cloud, Dataiku is expanding its services and offerings to meet rapidly evolving customer needs. Dataiku combines large-scale data analytics and AI technologies into a unique, easy-to-use platform that empowers data scientists to work with SQL databases, Spark, and Kubernetes through intuitive visual interfaces or code.
To support this mission, we are seeking a talented full-stack software engineer to work on the data analytics capabilities of Dataiku and other core platform features. You will play a key role in enhancing the performance, scalability, and security of our platform, enabling seamless integration with various data sources and computing engines like Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Spark, and Kubernetes. Additionally, you’ll help system administrators deploy and manage Dataiku DSS on cloud platforms using industry best practices, delivering a world-class experience for both coders and non-coders alike.
Our current technical stack is based on a mix of Java, Python, Angular, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP, Spark, Elasticsearch
This position is either onsite from Paris, London, Berlin and Amsterdam, or remote from any of these countries.

Some Expected Outcomes For This Role
- Improve scalability and latency of Dataiku DSS processing engines
- Support new cloud services & databases capabilities
- Enforce security best practices
- Ease installation & deployment of Dataiku DSS on customers; cloud subscriptions
- Deploy machine learning models at scale
- Ensure seamless integration of Dataiku with a variety of data sources and computing engines (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Spark, Kubernetes).
- Enhance the developer experience on Dataiku DSS through features like Code Studio and advanced dataset search capabilities
- You have experience in software development and are interested in data processing
- You are customer-oriented — you want to understand how the product is used and solve actual customer problems
- You know it's always sunny when you fly above the clouds
- You are curious about working “under the hood” and want to learn how things are built
- You have firsthand experience (either professional or personal) building a real product
- You are humble and kind
- You don't hesitate to ask questions when you don't know, and you treat your colleagues with respect, kindness, and honesty.
