Citizens Advice in West Sussex (North, South, East) is an independent local charity providing vital advice and support to residents across West Sussex county on issues such as debt, benefits, housing, energy, and immigration. We’re proud to deliver trusted, high-quality advice that helps people find a way forward, and we’re looking for a passionate Service Manager to help us continue that mission.

As Service Manager for our Mid Sussex area, you’ll oversee several small projects and lead a team delivering social welfare advice and casework to AQS standards. You’ll ensure services meet KPIs, quality and regulatory requirements, while providing supportive line management and encouraging a positive, high-performing team culture. You’ll also work closely with local stakeholders and partners, representing Citizens Advice and ensuring our services reflect the needs of the local community.

This is a hands-on leadership role, with a strong presence across local offices (minimum 80% office-based per week). You’ll play a key part in developing staff and volunteers, contributing to funder reporting, and helping shape the charity’s future through insight, collaboration and continuous improvement. If you’re a motivated leader who thrives on making an impact and driving community-focused services, we’d love to hear from you.
