Service Delivery Manager - Chetwynd Barracks
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday | £45,000 Per Annum

We’re currently recruiting a Service Delivery Manager to lead and enhance operations across Catering, Facilities, and Retail services on base. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow within a supportive, forward-thinking organisation.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Service Delivery Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth, high-quality service delivery across all operational areas. You’ll inspire and manage a diverse team, drive continuous improvement, and uphold our strong commitment to safety, service, and customer satisfaction.

You Should Have
Part of Compass Group UK&I, ESS is the Defence, Government, and Energy services sector of Compass Group UK & Ireland. We support 250+ UK military establishments, high profile police, secure environments and government sites, along with a range of onshore and offshore facilities including platforms, drilling rigs, floatels and offices for the energy sector. - Leading and motivating teams across Facilities, Catering, and Retail to deliver exceptional service
- Managing resources, labour, and budgets efficiently
- Monitoring service standards and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Overseeing third-party suppliers to ensure compliance with SLAs
- Championing health, safety, and compliance across all operations
- Driving employee engagement and team development
Our ideal candidate will be an experienced, confident leader with a passion for delivering operational excellence and outstanding customer service.
You Should Have
- Proven experience in a management role within the Soft FM industry
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Financial and commercial acumen
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A hands-on, proactive approach and a “can-do” attitude
- Strong computer and administrative skills
- A passion for food and service excellence
