Description We are seeking a Senior to join our Coalville team, focusing on accounts and financial reporting. This role is ideal for someone confident in dealing with clients, managing a portfolio, and supporting small accounts jobs. Experience with tax or audit is a bonus but not essential.
You will be responsible for preparing financial statements, management accounts, and bookkeeping support while working closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored advice.
Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring their accounting needs are met efficiently.
Prepare financial statements and in compliance with relevant accounting standard and produce management accounts.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering proactive financial guidance.
Assist clients with bookkeeping and accounting software, particularly Xero and other bookkeeping packages.
Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing support and training as required.
Identify areas for improvement in clients’ financial processes and provide recommendations.
Key Requirements ACA/ACCA or QBE
Experience in managing and mentoring junior members of a practice team.
Competent user of accounting software such as Xero, Sage and QuickBooks.
Knowledge of professional regulations and best practice.
Additional Requirements Be passionate about customers and service, with a strong will to make a difference.
To be self-motivated, prioritising and multitasking effectively.
Must have a high level of attention to detail.
Must be able to adapt quickly to changing business requirements
