What You’ll Do
You’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering a service that’s full of life, creativity, and purpose.
- Lead and inspire a passionate team to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.
- Design creative, inclusive activity programmes that reflect individual goals and interests from art and music to life skills and community projects.
- Promote independence, wellbeing, and positive engagement for every individual.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with families, professionals, and community partners across Leicester.
- Support your team’s development through coaching, reflective practice, and recognition.
- Ensure high standards of compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding, and health and safety requirements.
- Champion individual voice and choice, ensuring people have control over their day and their future.
You’re a natural leader who thrives on connection, creativity, and making a difference. You inspire those around you through positivity, professionalism, and care.
You’ll bring:
- At least 12 months’ leadership experience in a care or support setting.
- Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.
- A calm, confident, and proactive approach.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
- Experience with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) or supporting individuals with complex needs.
