Our Sat Connect IC business unit, a division of our Satellite Systems business is a leading provider of ASICs, software, multibeam electronically steered antennas, and complete systems for communication satellites, as well as ground and airborne terminals. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior System Test Automation Engineer to join us!

Key Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of Test automation infrastructure and Test scripts to support validation of Sat Connect IC Chipsets verifying functional and performance metrics.
• Support Test Management tools and continuous integration methodologies.
• Support database management and analysis tools for the test results data
• Development and ownership of system test plan with collaboration of development and test teams.
• Investigation of root cause of test case failures and providing corrective action in conjunction with development teams.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor/master’s degree in electronic/computer science engineering
• +8 years of experience in test automation for communication systems
• Proven experience in Python program language in an automation test environment
• Experience of testing Telecommunication or Satellite Systems.
• Experience of system testing, preferably embedded systems, SoC.
• Experience in planning, estimating and development of system tests.
• Experience in database development (SQL, MongoDB, React)
• Experience of test management software.
• Defect Tracking and Knowledge Management software (Atlassian JIRA and Confluence preferred)
• Knowledge of testing Methodologies
• Knowledge of operation of RF test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, VNAs, power meters – An advantage
• Knowledge on RF fundamentals and communications theory – An advantage
• Excellent Interpersonal skills.
