You’ll be joining our Engineering Solutions team, as the UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.

What will you be doing?
Do you enjoy leading on projects? You'll be responsible for the design of structures maintenance and improvement schemes with responsibility for delivery to time, cost and quality requirements.
You'll undertake technical design checks
You'll do site visits to to undertake structures inspections and production of structures feasibility and condition inspection reports
Are you organised? Resource planning will be a focus, and co-ordination of multi-disciplinary teams, including sub-consultants.
You'll ensure compliance with internal quality standards and processes. Ensuring legal compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental legislation.
You'll carry out people management including training and development, staff performance reviews and performance management.

What You’ll Bring
- You'll be a Chartered Engineer or a highly experienced Engineer working towards CEng
- You'll be experienced in inspection & design of structures
- Are you analytical? You'll need to be experienced in the application and review of structures software such as LUSAS and/or Superstress or similar
- You'll have experience of National Highways & Local Authority design standards & contracts.
- You'll have Eurocode design knowledge
- Do you love to share knowledge? You'll need to develop and mentor staff
- You'll have experience of design resource planning and customer programme management
- Evidence of managing H&S in design and construction
- You'll have experience of the NEC suite of contract documents and contract administration.
- You'll need a full UK/EEC driving licence
