Are you an experienced Site Engineer ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for a Senior Site Engineer to join our team for the exciting new build of a railway station just north of Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a high-profile infrastructure project, working with a collaborative and forward-thinking team.

You'll be working on…. (what your role and responsibility is)

  • Manage and provide survey and setting out information to enable design and construction of the works.
  • Carry out quality assurance checks in line with company procedures, ensuring all work is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
  • Liaise with site and development teams to ensure clear understanding and accurate delivery of engineering information.
  • Lead and develop a professional, efficient, and vibrant site engineering team, setting high standards for safety, professionalism, and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies, procedures, and engineering specifications.
  • Engage with the Octavius culture, promoting collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement across the project.

About You…. (what You Are Skilled At)

  • Demonstrable experience in groundworks, RC structures, steelwork, and building within a rail and civils environment.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to set up, manage, and motivate a site engineering team.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and a commitment to “right first time” construction.
  • Proficiency in CAD drawing tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to brief and support site and development teams.
  • Personal qualities in line with our values: Integrity, Caring, Progressive, Openness, and Quality.

You'll Bring… (your Wealth Of Experience & Qualifications)

  • Ideally, an industry-recognised qualification such as HND, NVQ, or similar in Civil Engineering/Building (or equivalent experience).
  • Valid CSCS card, PTS, and other relevant training.
  • Experience working on Network Rail infrastructure.
