We are developing the Fundraiser/Income Generation (FIG) Lead Trustee role as part of our strategy to diversify income streams and ensure a sound financial footing so that we meet the needs of children and young people with SEND and their families.

We are looking for someone who
- has a sound understanding and experience of charity fundraising
- brings overall leadership and drive to our fundraising/income generation
- can balance FIG activities against our objects and current strategic priorities
- has a broad understanding of commissioning and contract management
- can support the Head of Service in their role of producing funding bids and associated documents
- has strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
In addition to their wider responsibilities as a Trustee, the FIG Lead Trustee will
- provide the Board with strategic guidance for, and oversight of, FIG strategy in line with our overall objectives
- share knowledge and expertise to optimise our FIG
- support and advise on the development of our FIG capability, including consolidating current resources and diversifying into new areas
- report to the Board on the success and challenges of the FIG strategy
- ensure that our FIG activities are fully compliant including legally and ethically
- liaise where appropriate with colleagues on areas such as marketing, publicity and communications.
