Our Service Desk is the heartbeat of our IT function, and we're looking for a Senior Service Desk Engineer to help lead the way.
What you'll be doing:
As a Senior Service Desk Engineer, you'll be the go-to technical expert for our team and the wider business. You won't just be resolving complex incidents; you'll be a mentor for your colleagues, a key player in exciting IT projects, and a deputy to our Team Leader. This is a role with real responsibility and the chance to shape our support services.
A glimpse of your day-to-day:
- Provide top-notch 1st and 2nd line support for our Windows and Mac environments.
- Mentor and guide our talented Service Desk Engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
- Manage and prioritise tickets using ServiceNow, ensuring we hit our SLAs.
- Get hands-on with projects, from system upgrades to new software rollouts.
- Administer key systems like Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and more.
- Help us maintain our high standards within our ISO27001 framework.
Who we're looking for:
You're a natural problem-solver with substantial experience in a senior IT support role. You're comfortable with everything from Active Directory and O365 to network troubleshooting. Most importantly, you're a people person. You excel at building relationships, you're a team player, and you have a genuine desire to help others succeed.
