As we expand our footprint in the UK, we are seeking a talented and driven Sales Manager to lead our commercial efforts and potentially grow into the future CEO of our UK operations.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing and developing all sales and commercial activities in the UK market.

The ideal candidate has a solid technical background, particularly in electronic systems

related to elevators/lifts, and experience in B2B sales.

This role requires a hands-on leader with strategic vision, dedicated customer focus, and the ambition to play a key role in the long-term development of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • develop and execute the commercial strategy for the UK market;
  • identify and pursue new business opportunities, strategic partnerships and expansion in the market;
  • build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and partners;
  • define and implement the company’s long-term commercial vision and strategy, working closely with the management team and key stakeholders;
  • collaborate with technical and operational teams to ensure customer satisfaction;
  • work closely with the other Group Companies and the Esse-ti HQ, to ensure the alignment and consistent use of common tools (in terms of reporting, ERP system, processes and procedures);
  • monitor market trends and competitors’ activity to adjust strategies accordingly;
  • be groomed for future succession into the role of CEO of the UK entity.

Requirements:

  • degree in Business Management or Administration, Engineering or related fields (preferred);
  • proven experience in sales or business development within the elevator/lift or similar industrial sectors;
  • strong technical background, ideally in engineering, electronics, telecommunications, automation, or control systems;
  • experience in business agreements, service contracts, IoT solutions and after-sales business is preferred;
  • demonstrated leadership skills and entrepreneurial mindset;
  • excellent communication and business negotiating skills;
  • fluency in English; additional European languages would be a benefit;
  • willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally to HQ in Italy.
