The Children’s Society has been helping children and young people in this country for over 140 years. We deliver essential local services that provide safe, trusted support to children and young people during times of significant need.
This role sits within our Youth Impact Domain, and is located in our Gloucestershire Youth Services. In Gloucestershire we work with children across Cheltenham and Tewkesbury Districts, offering open access youth work, one to one work, and Return Interviews. This role is situated in our open access youth work, supporting the design, delivery, recording and evaluation of our groups, and line managing sessional staff who support them.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, driven and quality-focused youth worker to join our dynamic, ambitious team.
A key part of this role will be your ability to inspire and lead staff, and groups of young people, and to design relevant and safe youth work sessions.

- Significant experience (more than 5 years) working with young people, ideally in a group setting
- Experience designing and evaluating programmes of work with young people
