Are you passionate about driving innovation in the legal sector? If you are a forward-thinking professional ready to make a significant impact, we are seeking a Senior / Legal Technologist to join the team in either our Birmingham or Manchester office. This role is pivotal in advancing the adoption of cutting-edge legal technology and developing innovative client solutions. We will consider both Legal Technologists and Senior Legal Technologists.


The Role


The Senior / Legal Technologist will play a crucial role in driving the adoption of legal technology within the firm.


  • Embed within practice areas to identify the best combinations of people, process, and technology
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance processes and ensure alignment with client expectations
  • Deliver presentations and training on technology tools to lawyers and clients
  • Create internal marketing materials to highlight the benefits of technology
  • Assist in designing and promoting client solutions
  • Research legal technology trends to advise on opportunities for the firm and clients


The Candidate


The ideal candidate for the Senior / Legal Technologist role will possess the following:


  • Minimum 2 years' experience at a global law firm, preferably in legal technology or innovation roles
  • Experience with legal technology and Generative AI tools, including platforms like HighQ
  • Self-motivated and able to drive projects with minimal supervision
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time and projects effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, confident in engaging with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to drive change, build consensus, and complete projects successfully
  • Detail-oriented with a creative and pragmatic approach to problem-solving
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
