Lydgate Junior and Infant School is a multi-ethnic school that lies at the heart of a supportive and diverse community in Soothill, Batley.
Following the imminent retirement of our well established and a highly effective learning mentor, we wish to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic learning mentor to be a part of our committed team and support our pupils’ learning. The ideal candidate will have proven experience of working in this role.

- Has excellent communication skills including with parents
- Has high expectations of behaviour
- Is able to lead on lunchtime provision
- Is knowledgeable about barriers to learning and how to address them
- Is able to create bespoke solutions for the children
- Can build positive relationships with children and staff
- Is able to work well as part of a team.
