We’re currently recruiting for a Senior Director, Operational Excellence to join our Operations Leadership Team. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and oversight of operational excellence programs across the organisation, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference.

We’re currently recruiting for a Senior Director, Operational Excellence to join our Operations Leadership Team. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and oversight of operational excellence programs across the organisation, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference.
Your responsibilities in this role would be:
Leadership and Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive operational excellence strategy aligned with organisational goals.
- Provide visionary leadership in embedding a culture of continuous improvement across all levels of the organization.
- Lead the deployment of operational excellence programs and initiatives, including Lean, Six Sigma, and other quality improvement methodologies.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of operational improvements.
- Oversee and guide cross-functional project teams in the identification, prioritisation, and execution of improvement projects.
- Develop training and mentorship programs for employees to build operational excellence skills and capabilities and champion best practices in process improvement across OXB
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote operational excellence initiatives.
- Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration, encouraging employees to contribute ideas and solutions for process improvements.
- Regularly assess operational performance and identify new opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- Extensive experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies; certification preferred.
- Significant experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or a related discipline, with a track record of significant impact in previous roles preferably within highly regulated environments eg, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals or similar.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in change management and driving cultural transformation within organizations.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking abilities and problem-solving skills to identify operational inefficiencies and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, capable of inspiring, motivating, and developing teams and stakeholders towards achieving operational excellence.
